Terms of Service: New Magnolia Homestead

These terms cover purchases from newmagnoliahomestead.com and our farm shop at 1887 Buffalo Run, Thaxton, Virginia 24174 ("New Magnolia Homestead," "we," "us"). By ordering, you agree to them.

1. Products and availability

We're a small family farm. Quantities are limited and seasonal. If we can't fill an item you ordered, we'll contact you and refund that item. Photos are representative. Handmade goods vary a little batch to batch.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through. Virginia sales tax is charged where required.

3. Pickup and shipping

Pickup and shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy. Shipped orders go by USPS, with rates calculated at checkout. Live animals do not ship by carrier, and checkout is set to farm pickup. Free delivery within 50 miles of our farm (1887 Buffalo Run, Thaxton, VA). Beyond 50 miles, we can haul it for $4 per mile round trip ($150 minimum), or you can pick up at the farm. We can also set it up with a livestock transport company we've worked with. Email family@newmagnoliafarm.com to arrange delivery.

4. Perishable food

Eggs and other perishables are fresh farm products. Refrigerate eggs promptly when you receive them. Because they're perishable, we can't take returns on them. If something is wrong with a perishable item, contact us and we'll make it right.

5. Deposits, livestock, and reservations

Deposits for piglets, livestock, and grow-out animals (for example, our "Piglet Deposit (Non-Refundable)" listing) hold your spot and are non-refundable. If we're unable to provide the animal you reserved, we'll contact you to make it right. We'll contact you about any remaining balance and to arrange pickup. Live animals are sold as-is at pickup. 6. Skincare and candles

Magnolia Bloom and Magnolia Woods skincare are made with animal fats and botanicals. Patch-test before use and stop if irritation occurs. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles and wax melts away from children, pets, and flammable items.

7. Returns and refunds

See our Refund Policy. Perishables, live animals, and deposits follow sections 4 and 5 above.

8. Visiting the farm

The farm is a working homestead with animals, uneven ground, and equipment. Visitors come at their own risk. Children must be supervised, and please don't enter animal pens unless one of our family is with you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Disputes go to the courts of Bedford County, Virginia.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted here applies to orders placed after it's posted.
