Shipping & Pickup
New Magnolia Homestead is a family farm at 1887 Buffalo Run, Thaxton, Virginia 24174.
Local farm pickup
Choose "Local pickup" at checkout and collect your order at our farm shop during open hours:
- Thursday & Friday: 3–6 PM
- Saturday: farmers market 8 AM–noon, then the farm shop is open noon–6 PM
- Sunday: self-serve 2–4 PM
- Monday–Wednesday: closed
We'll email you when your order is ready. If you can't make it during shop hours, email us and we'll contact you to arrange pickup.
Live animals: pickup or delivery
Live animals don't ship by carrier, and checkout is set to farm pickup. Free delivery within 50 miles of our farm (1887 Buffalo Run, Thaxton, VA). Beyond 50 miles, we can haul it for $4 per mile round trip ($150 minimum), or you can pick up at the farm. We can also set it up with a livestock transport company we've worked with. Email family@newmagnoliafarm.com to arrange delivery.
Meat: pickup or local delivery
Meat is pickup or local delivery only; it does not ship. Pick up at the farm shop or market, or get free delivery within 50 miles of the farm.
Home foods: Virginia addresses only
Our home-canned and kitchen-made foods (pickles, Nana’s Cocoa, and dried and candied orange slices) ship to Virginia addresses only, or you can pick them up at the farm shop or market.
Items we ship
Everything else ships from Thaxton, VA, or you can pick it up at the farm shop or market. That includes farm fresh eggs, the Homestead Holiday Simmer Pot, Magnolia Bloom and Magnolia Woods tallow skincare, lip balm, sugar scrubs, foaming hand cleanser, and Cozy Cottontail candles and wax melts.

Heat and weather
Tallow balms and candles can soften in summer heat. If an item arrives melted or damaged, email a photo to family@newmagnoliafarm.com and we'll make it right.
